I made the selection for you. The best of Russian contemporary photography. It has been 10 years I have been doing this. Yes.. And – as well – the works of other artists , not necessarily Russian, and not necessarily photographers. They are my treasures. Some litlle time after – and you are falling in love with a photograph… or with a watercolor… or with a ceramic… and you can buy it and take it home, and have it at your place. Yes, you are going to be fond of it more and more. May be you will show it to your guests, and not only on the screen, but in real. As it is not the same thing.. we agree on that…

Since its establishment in 2007 in Paris (during 10 years under Russiantearoom name), the main gallery expertise is photography, with a particular interest for the best of Russian (in a sense coming from ex-URSS territory) artists working with this specific medium.

In 2017, after conceiving the Russian presence at REVELATIONS art fair, dedicated to the fine crafts, at the Grand Palais in Paris, the gallery started exploring the craftsmen artists working with different materials. We juxtapose the photographers to the artists who's know-how level goes beyond its limits, giving birth to the unique, non-utilitarian pieces, charged with meaning.

The model of the classic gallery is changing, it is reinventing and transforming itself, adapting to the brave new world.

Today's Liza Fetissova gallery is free and nomade, with broader interests and goals: we invest particular parisian and not only parisian spaces, that have a history, a story to tell and a soul.
